Why do you make fun of Jesse Lacey if you love Brand New so much?
I cannot answer this question. It just happens. I see something, a joke comes into my head, that’s it. Take it easy, I love Brand New.
Who’s the Asian kid? Is he your boyfriend?
The Asian Kid’s name is Eric. No, Eric is not my boyfriend. He’s a perfect human being I proudly call one of my best friends. Follow and bother him with questions here.
You live in the South. Do you have an accent/do you live on a farm/do you really listen to Lynyrd Skynyrd?
Yes. Only around people I’m very comfortable with. Usually I try to hide it. I do not live on a farm. I do listen to Skynyrd, but only when I’m very drunk.
What’s your favorite Brand New song?
Bought a Bride (I’m not sure why. I just love it.) and Quiet Things (it was the first song I ever heard by them)

La Dispute, Transit, Taking Back Sunday, Gaslight Anthem, A Day To Remember, Tigers Jaw, Jack’s Mannequin, etc.
What made you want to write the Jesse Lacey Diaries? What do you think Jesse would say if he knew about them?
It was originally supposed to be a one time thing, like the If Jesse Lacey Had a Twitter thing. I didn’t expect people to actually like it. I got the idea for the second one, and it sort of went from there. I have no clue what Jesse would say, I don’t think he’d be too thrilled, but maybe he’d think it was funny.
What’s your favorite book? Your favorite movie?
My favorite book of all time is Perks of Being a Wallflower. I also like the Harry Potter series. My favorite movie is Streetcar Named Desire. A close second is East of Eden.

What do you do for work? What do you want to do?
I was a nanny for close to two years, but since the lady I was working with quit her job, she doesn’t need me around haha. So, unemployed for now. I either want to be a tour manager or work for a record label somehow. I also want to open a record store. I have a lot of dreams, okay?
